Refund policy

When return or refund of items are unavailable

As The Magen Project is conducted from Australia, all consumers are bound by Australian Consumer law and applicable laws. 

The avenue for a refund is unavailable when consumers:

  • Have a change of mind about the product, for example, deciding that they do not like the product after purchasing, had no use for it, found the product cheaper some other place. 
  • The problem with their item arises due to the consumers misuse of it
  • The consumer is aware of the problem with the product before they bought it as it is made clear to them.
  •  The problem with the service provided was not caused by the business but another.

When return or refund of items are available

The seriousness of the problem (major) with the item is what will permit a refund or return of the item

Major problems. 

Major problems are those which:

  • Items depart in one or more significant respects from their description - s 260(b)
  • Items are unsafe - s260(e)
  • Comprised of two or more minor failures - s 260(2) and 268(2)
  • Items are unit for their disclosed purposes - ss 260(c) and (d)
  • Items would have not been acquired by a reasonable consumer if fully acquainted with the nature and extent of the failure - s 260(1)

Minor problems

If a problem is not major then it is minor. The Magen Project does not have to offer a replacement or refund for a minor problem

If a refund is allowed 

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at themagenproject@gmail.com.

Exchanges

Due to the nature of the items for sale, all sales are final and exchanges are unavailable. All items are specifically ordered and made to the consumers choice of size and piece, meaning that there is no avenue available to change the size or piece. Please make sure to check the measurements and instructions provided when choosing the size of your item. 

Cancellation of order 

Consumers may cancel their order within 24 hours of purchase.
